Bredon Manor is a Georgian family home and exclusive-use wedding venue in the Gloucestershire countryside, on the edge of the Cotswolds near Cheltenham.
Couples take over the whole estate for the weekend, including the house, wedding barn, gardens and heated swimming pool. Only a limited number of weddings are hosted each year, allowing every celebration to be shaped around the couple rather than a fixed package.
St Giles’ Church sits immediately next door and is reached through a private gate directly from the churchyard into the manor gardens. Bredon Manor itself is not licensed for civil ceremonies, but couples not marrying in church can hold their legal ceremony beforehand and arrange a celebrant-led blessing in the grounds or wedding barn.
The barn seats up to 80 guests for the wedding breakfast and accommodates up to 100 in the evening. For larger weddings, a marquee on the front lawn seats up to 150 guests.
On-site accommodation is available for up to 16 guests. Friday welcome events and Sunday pool celebrations can also be added, creating a full wedding weekend.
Napier is the exclusive caterer and creates menus around each couple. There is no corkage charge.
