CHALK's contemporary barn features floor-to-ceiling glazing that frames panoramic countryside views, with licensed ceremony spaces both indoors and beneath the outdoor pergola. The flowing layout accommodates drinks, dining and dancing with seamless transitions, whilst the ceremony lawn, surrounding grounds and wild fields provide space for relaxed outdoor moments. A fire pit creates golden-hour ambience, with fireworks and sparklers available by arrangement. On-site parking accommodates all guests, and helicopter arrival can be coordinated in advance. The professional events team manages supplier coordination and timings throughout the 48-hour hire period, and the venue's sustainability credentials include solar power with battery storage and biomass heating.
Food is a highlight at CHALK. In partnership with Kalm Kitchen, the team curates seasonal menus that look beautiful and taste exceptional, from elegant plated courses to generous sharing feasts. Private tastings help shape a menu that reflects each couple’s taste and the tone of the day. The licensed bar offers a curated selection of wines, spirits and local ales, aligned with the venue’s considered, sustainability‑led ethos. Couples are welcome to bring preferred suppliers or select from trusted partners who know the space well.
