Set against the picturesque backdrop of the North Wessex Downs‚Äô rolling hills, Lains Barn has all the beauty and benefits of the countryside, while being incredibly well-connected, transport-wise. Lains is a family-run venue. We have over 50 years‚Äô experience in catering, weddings, events and venues. Together with our incredible team, we offer our couples a wealth of knowledge and support to ensure your special day runs perfectly. You can always expect a warm reception when you pay a visit to Lains; we pride ourselves on our friendly approach and passion for what we do.

Want all your friends and family there for your special day? No problem! The main barn can seat up to 170 guests and 200 standing, making Lains perfect for the ceremony, reception and dancing. On the subject of dancing, our unique location allows for the party to go on late into the night. We have no noise restrictions and can offer an extended licence until 1 or 2am for those night owls among you.
